Like they say, “You don’t know—what you don’t know”! We will share with you our special ways, the unique and exclusive, Kensington Advantage. Our products, procedures, and billing are different. We only use the highest quality, organic products and procedures that are safe for people, pets and the environment. Our weed-pulling is 100% effective. We have always been organic, even before the 2008 provincial ban that brought public awareness of toxic pesticides. Summers are getting longer, hotter, and drier making it harder to have a nice lawn, so water and rain are vital! Climate change and the ban have changed how we care for your lawns. We do all this for you.
Results: We establish and maintain a safe, thick, green, sustainable, organic lawn with as few weeds as possible. Your lawn needs one inch of water or rain per week. You or our crew maintain a 3-inch cut. We know what to add, when to add it, and how much to add.
Relax: So convenient. You save time, money, and energy. Enjoy your lawn and more of your summer. You don’t have to travel, drive, and park, going back and forth, to buy, store, and maintain a mower, trimmer, blower, fertilizers, spreaders, liquid weed controls, sprayers, tools, and weed pullers
Inform: We monitor and document your lawn each visit. We provide turf information and research.

The Essential Kensington Advantage Lawn Care Plan
The Essential Kensington Advantage Lawn Care Plan: Weed controls, fertilizers, assessments, and pH test, 5 Visits and 10 Treatments, Spring, Summer, and Fall
- This is our basic lawn care plan for the average size property, 2,500 sq ft., and average conditions, only one prepaid payment of 349 plus HST 45.37 = 394.00
- Or combine both mowing and lawn care (fertilizers & weed controls) and weekly mowing, for a blended monthly fee paid at month's end after the work is done. Example 2,500 sq. ft. mowing plus weed controls and fertilizers, 251 plus 32.89 HST = 284.00/month. Convenient and budget -friendly whether 4 or 5 weeks, it's the same amount. Grass grows, on average, 5 to 6 inches per month during the 26* week lawn care season. To keep the billing consistent we average this charge.
Any additional work outside the scope of the essential lawn care plan is extra, including leaf clean up. You set the standard, from good enough to golf course.
Membership is limited. Do you need to know more? Do we need to know more? We adjust billing for late spring and early fall. Please e-transfer. Whether new or renewing, we do not start until we hear from you!

Our Science
- Expertise: On-going research and study of turf, weeds, insects, diseases, and soil at a university level.
- Organic Methods: We focus on sustainability to maintain proper nutrient levels. Our organic treatments promote long-term health, resulting in a thick, green lawn with as few weeds as possible.
Our Work
- We start after the last spring frost and stop before the first fall frost. Invoices are adjusted when not a full month.
- We manually pull weeds, especially seed-bearing ones.
- We apply Fiesta to weeds on lawns.
- We use Horticultural Vinegar for weed in hardscapes.
- Lawns are mowed and trimmed high 3 inches.
- Rained out..be back next day.

Ongoing Care for a Healthy Lawn
We start with the basic "or essential” lawn care plan, this is usually enough to establish and maintain a good lawn. We will recommend and discuss if more is needed. No more, good, better, best plans just get only what your lawn needs. Sometimes extra work may be needed to solve problems. We were always available to walk your property. We assess the lawn each visit.
EXPECTATIONS: YOU SET THE STANDARD FROM “GOOD ENOUGH TO GOLF COURSE STATUS”.
One season of lawn care is not enough. Lawn care is ongoing maintenance, Our applications are cumulative. Only new sod is perfect and weed-free. We can provide that sod service for you. No one can guarantee you 100% that your lawn will not suffer from weeds, insects, or diseases. You are wise to take action to increase the opportunity to succeed! We look for any invasive species, weeds, or insects.
We try not to work on weekends, unless we get behind due to rain or stat holidays.
