Our founder, Al Bow, back in the '80's when he started to develop his organic lawn care plans. Today he is still studying the sustainable and safe treatments and products to provide the best lawns.

Choosing the Right Lawn Care Provider
ARE YOU HIRING A LAWN CARE PROVIDER? QUESTIONS TO ASK THEM. YOU WILL LIKE OUR ANSWERS!
- Do you have a business license? (This protects you with proof of liability insurance and criminal check.)(Make sure they have insurance, so if they get injured on your property you are protected.)
- How long have you been in business?
- What are your credentials/training?
- Do you have any testimonials or awards?
- Do you have all the necessary equipment: a mulching lawn mower, trimmer, and blower?
- Do you know what to add, when to add it, and how much to add?
- How many visits, and how many treatments?
- How do you control weeds? Do you pull weeds? Do you use Fiesta and horticultural vinegar?
- How do you deal with chinch, grubs, and lawn diseases?
- Do you have a license from the Ministry of the Environment to spray?
RED FLAGS: No criminal checks, no insurance, no signage on the truck, insists on cash payments only, no website, no business card, smoking or bad language while working on your property, subcontractors, or temp agency workers.
SHOP AND COMPARE: Always get multiple, written quotes and get expert advice. All visits and treatments are at our discretion.
CANNOT: We cannot work in the rain. It’s not safe for people, just makes a muddy mess, not good for the grass or mowers, liquid Fiesta, and horticultural vinegar are diluted and not effective.
We cannot call ahead. Cannot schedule visits 100% due to rain. We cannot work in the snow, extreme conditions: winds, pollution, high temperatures, stat holidays or Sundays, no ladders or chain saws, no eavestroughs, no winter work, or cannot stop smiling. Only 7 am to 7 pm. Monday to Saturday. We cannot continue service if not paid on time within 5 weeks. No work on big trees: have a certified arborist check every 3 to 5 years.
